create your own ceremony

Making it special
Having found your reliquary, it is more special to enshrine the contents with a family ceremony. Weather you have ashes, a lock of hair or a precious piece of jewellery.

It need not be a religious ceremony, but prayers of your own can be offered as you feel appropriate. Further dedications can be introduced at anniversaries or family gatherings for years to come.

It can be difficult to put all these refinements into place when we are still in shock or too emotional to facilitate a ceremony of your own. Here are several suggested ideas you might like to explore. Files can be downloaded for you to share.

We welcome suggestions of your own. If you would like to contribute your own ideas for an enshrinement ceremony, please contact us below.

Let’s Work Together
Introducing the reliquary as a skillful means to overcome our grief, to focus our attention on something very painful in order to transform it into love, compassion and gratitude for those we have lost.
I offer this page freely with advice and ideas on how you can make this work for you.
If you would like to share ceremonial ideas of your own, from your spiritual or religious cultural background please let me know.
Perhaps we can post them here.
